Safety Concerns

Management has received reports of suspicious activity throughout the community.

These reports consists of but are not limited to the following:

  • Teenagers/Young children that do not reside at Bayside Landing accessing the pool area; Please be reminded that pool access should not be provided to anyone without a fob or with a non-working fob.
  • Transients jumping into the pool area;
  • Suspicious people walking & biking through the community and stealing packages;
  • Vehicles vandalized;
  • Bicycles stolen.

At this time, Management would like to remind all residents of the following:

  • Ensure vehicles and front doors are locked;
  • Ensure valuables are not left in your vehicle or in sight;
  • Please ensure garage doors are closed at night (at any time you are not actively in the garage per the Association’s Rules and Regulations) or if you are away from your home;
  • Do not provide amenity access to anyone without a fob. Residents who have lost/misplaced/with non working fobs can contact Management for assistance. (Replacements are $25.00);
  • Ensure packages are retrieved as they are delivered and if possible, a certified Amazon hub locker may be highly recommended for residents who are not home/will not be home .
  • If you believe there is a suspicious person onsite or that items are missing please call 911 for Emergencies only and (619) 498-2400 for non-emergency matters.

Management understands the frustration and concerns with these matters however, Management, the Board and/or the Association are not responsible for missing/stolen/damaged items.

Lastly, the City of Imperial Beach and neighbors in the surrounding areas have contacted Management requesting we remind our residents to not block driveway access when parking offsite as te.
